Colours and customer submitted artwork
As colours show differently on different monitors the colour of your sign may look slightly different to that showing on your monitor.  If you need us to match a colour, please supply us with pantone references.  As we digitally print the signs we can only match the pantone references as close as possible.
Sign proofs.
Please check and double check all spelling, colours, sizes while creating your signs.  We will not be responsible for any mistakes made by you.  Please remember that signs are made individually for you and cannot be returned unless there has been a mistake made by make-a-sign.

Sign prices do not include VAT at the standard rate (20%).   Delivery costs will be shown when you proceed through the checkout.

We require the full amount to be paid in advance by BACS, internet or by giving us your credit/debit card detail over the phone. If you'd like to pay for your sign by cheque, please contact us on 01225 832050.

We will aim to dispatch the banner to you within 5 working days from placing the order, providing that you supply the correct delivery address.

We feel we have chosen the best delivery companies. If your banner/sign is urgent and you have specific deadlines may we suggest that you ask us to use one of the 'timed', delivery services rather than just 'Next Day', delivery can be at any time up until 6pm the next day. If you have not received your package, contact us and we can trace your delivery.

Postal delays and losses do occasionally occur - we can normally chase and check on progress. If you feel that a shipment is overdue please let us know and we can run a trace.

We endeavour to be fair, ethical and sympathetic to our clients' needs.
We shall not be liable in any way for losses, damages or expenses (whether direct, indirect or consequential) suffered by you due to delay or any failure to deliver the sign to the place and by the date stated by you.

Shipping delays and errors
Make-a-sign  is in no way responsible for any delays in shipping including local delivery errors. We will make every effort to rectify the situation where feasible. Make-a-sign  is not responsible for 3rd party shipping errors or damaged shipments.

Damage in transit
Signs damaged in transit must be reported immediately by signing the delivery note “Damaged on arrival” and returning it to us within 5 working days; any damaged Goods must be retained by you for inspection. If the delivery note is signed without the comment “Damaged on arrival” we cannot be held responsible for damages in transit.

Action upon delivery
You will need to inspect the signs immediately on delivery and if there is shortages or errors in delivery you need to notify us in writing quoting the invoice number within 5 working days after date of delivery. Any claims for non-delivery of the signs will not be considered unless you notify us in writing within 10 days of the date of invoice.

Order cancellation
Make-a-sign will be happy to help you cancel your order unless your signs are already in production.
